Blogging with Students to begin soon!

I am anxious to get started with blogging with my class! My goal is to have every student who is the "Star Student" for the week to help me compose a post by reviewing what was special for the week so we can share it with our tech family and friends! Reflections on my first week!

Well as you can tell I have been off for a while now, due to the busy and chaos that comes along with the first week of school. I am happy to report that I had a wonderful first week with my sixth grade students--they are terrific! When a free moment occurs, I am looking forward to sharing with you some of my new technology in our classroom and also pictures of what our classroom looks like. Technology is coming!

I am thrilled to report that our classroom this coming fall will be part of a project room! What does this mean? Well, we are on the verge of moving towards a classroom equiped with many cool technology gadgets to reinforce and engage the students with. Now I am just waiting for all the equipment to magically appear in my classroom to begin working with it and sharing it with my new class this coming fall! I am looking forward to sharing this technological journey through blogging and hopefully also reach out to anyone that can share some of their cool ideas.

Welcome to my blog!

Summer is winding down and I have taken a leap into the blogging world!!  After reading and being inspired by so many wonderful teachers, I have decided to begin a blog of my own.  My goals for this blog include: informing parents, students and blogging family members of what is happening in our classroom, exploring technology to expand my classroom resources with other educators, and to continue to challenge myself to add more technology into my classroom.  I hope that this blog will not only inspire other teachers, but keep everyone informed of what is happening in our classroom!
